The Challenge
The world of Cybersecurity is both intimidating and not-that-interesting. Who wants to read about a bunch of ones and zeroes?
Luckily for me, HUMAN is armed with an incredible art director and a talented copywriter! Together we tackled the complex and highly sophisticated world of Cybersecurity in an exciting new way.

I. Propaganda
Before a single comic page was conceived, we built an exciting world of espionage, cyber-mafias and more.
I used the style and tone of vintage propaganda posters to drive home the real threats that cyber-criminals pose
In a sea of cyber-blue and sleek fonts, The propaganda posters stood out among the competitors because of the stylized vintage vibe and the bold messaging.
II. World Building
Each story was provided a script and a general direction. I researched, compiled and designed everything - I was like the production and costumer designer all in one!
I designed including the buildings (interiors and exteriors), vehicles, devices, and clothing for both our protagonists and villains.
III. Setting the pace
During this phase, I take my production designer hat off and put on my director and cinematographer hat.
I create storyboards from the copy provided. Each panel is thoughtfully crafted to tell the story in an epic way, while still making cybersecurity accessible to the average person.
